Poetry: Voices in the Wilderness

Voices in the Wilderness:  Rekindle your creative fire! Poets of all levels, from beginner to advanced, come together to read, write, and recite.  In Genesis, we are called to be “stewards of the Earth.”  Yet, we are currently suffering the Sixth Mass Extinction as a direct result of human activity, and the Climate Crisis causes consequences such as superstorms, wildfires, shrinking ice caps, and coastal flooding.   In this workshop, we will celebrate poetry of the environment.  Reconnect to poets such as William Wordsworth, WS Merwin, William Stafford, Gary Snyder, and Robinson Jeffers as we affirm nature and ecology.  Bring your own pens, pencils, paper, notebooks. Poems will be provided. Enjoy opportunities to nurture your inner Muse!
